Multi Planar Reconstruction (MPR)

The 3D Multi-Planar Reconstruction feature enables data acquired in one plane to be visualized across multiple planes for improved diagnostic and labeling accuracy. For example, a CT acquired in the axial plane can be reconstructed into sagittal and coronal views with the click of a button. Reference lines and crosshair pointers will be shown on other planes while working on one specific view to aid the analysis.

Additional viewing options including Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Minimum Intensity Projection (MinIP), and Average can be selected while a reconstruction is activate by selecting the MPR icon again.

Currently only axial, sagittal and coronal view reconstruction is available. Oblique plane reconstruction is on the roadmap and will be available soon. Also for now, labels can only be applied to the primary plane that was used for reconstruction.
